The 11th annual Toronto Armenian Summerfest, held on the July 7 – 9 weekend, attracted record crowds with its unprecedented lineup of musical entertainment.

Performers came from Armenia, Los Angeles and Toronto to entertain the crowds late into the night.

This year’s headliner, making her first Toronto appearance, was Sirusho, who shared the stage with the Hamazkayin Erepouni Dance Group and pleased the crowd with her many hits.

Famous singers Armenchik, Adiss Harmandian, Harout Bedrossian, Joseph Krikorian, Martin Mkrtchyan, with Liquid Trio and children entertainer Joelle livened the attendees with Armenian oldies and the latest hits.

Along with the music, there were food stands and children’s entertainment on site throughout the three evenings.

A number of municipal and provincial politicians attended the event, led by Toronto Mayor John Tory, who is a regular visitor to Summerfest and other ACC events.
